Let’s talk about how we got here!
I originally set out to open
an All-
Star Gym, a physical
space where we
could train,
connect, and build
community,
but life had other plans.
So, I pivoted: Level Up Cheer became the online
platform you see today, and we are able to reach
and connect with more athletes than I ever
imagined. This wild ride all started because, as a
new cheer mom I had no idea what I was doing.
For real though – I didn’t know where to turn or
how to get my
questions answered. Questions
like: what the hell is a standing back
tuck?
What’s the deal with all these levels? How to
perfect competition
hair & makeup for girls of
color? And, do I need to invest in private
lessons,
how often, & with who? And, really? All this for 2
minutes and
thirty seconds?!
This mama needed some
real answers, so I set out
to find them,
and now I
want to share them all
with you.
More than anything, Level Up
CHEER is a place to feel
included and represented.
This is where athletes of all sizes and types
feel SEEN and
can have fun! Level Up is
designed to provide resources ,
contacts,
and insider tips you can trust. Our athlete
portal
is for YOU to showcase your talent,
personality, and style
in a way that feels
authentic to YOU! And as a cheer mom,
I
loved the idea of having a professional way
for coaches,
recruiters, brands, and
modeling agencies to discover our
athletes.
At Level Up, we look out for
one another, and my purpose
is bigger than cheerleading.
I hope to make such an impact that our
athletes truly learn
to love their authentic
selves, recognize their value and
take up the
space they deserve. I want to encourage
them
not to play small but to reach their
fullest potential, to
help them build positive,
personal brands that allow them
to feel
inspired, empowered and connected.
