5 DELICIOUS WAYS TO MAKE SURE YOUR CHEERLEADER STAYS HYDRATED

Water is essential, but let’s face it, it can taste a little bland. Staying hydrated can be fun and tasty by adding natural and organic ingredients that kids and parents love! Just slice, mix and enjoy.

SPA WATER

  • Servings: 2
  • Drink within 24 hours
  • Preparation time: 5 minutes

Directions:

  1. Slice the fruit finely
  2. Place the fruit in an 18-ounce glass along with still or sparkling water
  3. Combine, cover, and refrigerate
  4. Stir and serve with ice

RASPBERRY MINT WATER

  • Fresh whole raspberries, 4 oz
  • Fresh whole mint leaves, 6

FRUITY CITRUS WATER

  • Cucumber, 1/2 finely sliced
  • Grapefruit, 1/2 finely sliced
  • Lemon, 1 finely sliced
  • Lime, 1 finely sliced
  • Fresh whole mint leaves, 10
  • Watermelon. 1 cup

STRAWBERRY LIMEADE

  • Strawberries, 3 finely sliced
  • Lime, 4 slices
  • Fresh whole mint leaves, 3

FRESH BERRY WATER

  • Cucumber, finely sliced, 1/4 cup
  • Blackberries, 1/4 cup
  • Lemon juice, 1/4 cup

ORANGE SPICED WATER 

  • Oranges, 4 sliced
  • Fresh ginger, 3 pieces; peeled and finely sliced
  • Fresh thyme, 2 sprigs

LU CHEER PRO TIP:

You can boost hydration and avoid chemical additives in sports drinks by adding half a teaspoon of Himalayan salt per gallon of water, or a pinch (0.8 grams) for every 12 to 32 ounces of water. As well as preventing dehydration, it may improve your body’s electrolyte balance and support muscle function.
